| And in Life's noisiest hour, There whispers still the ceaseless Love of Thee, The heart's Self-solace and soliloquy. You mould my Hopes, you fashion me within ; And to the leading Love-throb in the Heart Thro' all my Being, thro' my pulse's beat ; You lie in all my many Thoughts, like Light, Like the fair light of Dawn, or summer Eve On rippling Stream, or cloud-reflecting Lake. And looking to the Heaven, that bends above you, How oft! I bless the Lot that made me love you. | | |
| So for the Summer Visions film program I'm in right now, we need two people to be in our short film. I'm really reluctant to be in the film because I want to be able to work the camera and focus on cinematography. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case there is someone who's actually interested. There isn't a lot of dialogue and it is a piece with the theme of being able to let go and move on from a death of someone close to you. We'd start shooting Friday afternoon and would carry on Tuesday and Wednesday. We start in the morning at 9:30am and carry through until 3:30-4pm. So if you're interested, or know anyone who would be interested, don't hesitate to ask for more details. | | |
| I know I haven't posted anything substantial on here for gawd knows how long (for the reason that I like the comfort of friend locking my posts in my other blog) but anyway, about half the summer is gone already and for the most part I'm loving it. Despite practically living at work (I've just finished a 7 consecutive work day week) I've been cramming in as much fun as I can with the sacred days off that I do have. Lots of movies, lots of shopping downtown, late night Improv, been down to Granville Island twice now, and of course Science World. Even at work though, I'm still having fun because I love the people I work with and most of my days off have been spent with them. Saturday should be fun too. During the day I'm going to go around downtown with a friend from work and then later we're meeting up with more people down at Trout Lake for the Illuminaries Lantern Festival and will stick around long enough to see the fireworks as well. As for the like-life, I'm madly crushing over someone who the more I get to know better, the more I can't stop thinking about. Crushes are evil that way. That summer film program starts on Monday for me. I'll still be working lots of evening shifts too. I also got two free admission tickets to see Stardust Tuesday night at Tinseltown and will be going with a friend from work. Oh yes, and Harry Potter night was insane. They called me up to join them up at cash right before midnight. It was still fun, but didn't get home until 2:30am. The Saturday after on cash was even worse though, as there was no definitive end of the line and it was just a constant flow of mass amounts of people for the entire shift. So yes, summer has been going very well so far, the good completely outweighing the bad - or at least making me happy enough to ignore the bad.

| I will be the answer
At the end of the line
I will be there for you
While you take the time
In the burning of uncertainty
I will be your solid ground
I will hold the balance
If you can't look down
If it takes my whole life
I won't break, I won't bend
It will all be worth it
Worth it in the end
Cause I can only tell you what I know
That I need you in my life
When the stars have all gone out
You'll still be burning so bright | | |
| Ahh I love this song so much Nineteen - T&S
I felt you in my life before I ever thought to
I need to lay down beside you and tell you
I feel you in my heart and I don't even know you
Now we're saying bye... I was nineteen, call me
You were all mine, I was yours right?
I was nineteen, call me | | |
